Cardiff City look to be making a move for Solihull Moore striker Kyle Hudlin. Hudlin has gained fame for his powerful performances and giant six foot nine frame. Described online as “The next Peter Crouch”, Hudlin has gained fame online for his eye catching performances and range of wonderful goals.
Hudlin has been named as the tallest outfield player in Great Britain by The Sun, He scored nine times in his debut professional season with Solihull, and amassed an impressive highlight real as shown above.
His quick feet are incredible for a man of his size, earning him comparisons to former England International Peter Crouch. Kyle Hudlin has been linked to Cardiff City in recent weeks, with boss Mick McCarthy keen to have him link up with fellow big man Kieffer Moore.
“The Next Peter Crouch”
He joined Solihull Moors last October from Midland League Division Two side Solihull United. He managed to establish himself in the team despite the Covid pandemic. Hudlin looks to be keen on a move. With the likes of Cardiff City, Sheffield United and Barnsley all keen on the striker.
Cardiff City have been on the lookout for a striker this summer. The Bluebirds signed James Collins from Luton Town already, but are still on the hunt. Martyn Waghorn was a target before his move to Coventry on a free was confirmed.
VERDICT: I have not seen him play, but on highlights he looks like a tidy player. I don’t know about the next Peter Crouch, but Hudlin could be a useful asset. He is bound to get goals from set pieces wherever he plays. Would be a good backup for Kieffer Moore. The pair both share similar qualities and he would learn under the Welsh International.
