AEW’s The Bunny Will Be Back Soon From Injury, Star Reveals

The Bunny

Huge AEW ratings draw The Bunny is set to return to the ring “soon”, having not wrestled for over four months.

The star last wrestled against Jamie Hayter on the February 8th, 2023 episode of AEW Dynamite, where she suffered a broken orbital bone during the match, which has kept her out of the ring for many months.

Her absence has been missed, with The Bunny (also known as Allie) being a big draw for the fans at home. Her return to the company has been well anticipated, and luckily for the fans looks set to happen sooner rather than later.

AEW wrestler The Butch recently appeared on Josh Nason’s Punch-Out podcast to speak about all manner of things related to his career.

Talking about his wrestling and music career, the topic of conversation switched to The Bunny, who manages The Butcher and The Blade.

When asked about where The Bunny is, Butcher confirmed that she broke her orbital bone in her last match, which came just a few matches after another injury.

This has affected her confidence, but everyone is anticipating her return and looks forward to seeing what she can do next.

The Butcher said:

“She (The Bunny) like hurt her orbital. She like broke her orbital and yeah, she’s doing really good. I’m sure she’s gonna be back soon. That’s the thing is when something like that — I think she came from an injury too so she was injured for a bit then had a couple matches and got injured. That’s gotta crush your confidence, you know what I mean? But the good thing is since she’s been gone, we’ve been kind of building this new little faction thing up and so when she comes back, it’ll be awesome.”

The Butcher and The Blade have aligned with Kip Sabian and Penelope Ford on AEW television in recent months, and look likely to have The Bunny join them as the leader of the faction soon enough.
