Some sad news came out of All Elite Wrestling last night, when it was revealed that one of the top stars on the brand would miss months due to a major injury.
Ricky Starks, who has been one of the most consistently entertaining wrestlers on the roster since his debut against Cody Rhodes on July 17, 2020, has been revealed to have suffered from a fractured neck and will miss 3 months of in ring time.
Starks, 30, suffered the injury after taking a bad bump off of a German suplex in his April 21st match again ‘Hangman’ Adam Page, although has been appearing on AEW Dynamite since then in backstage segment with his faction, Team Taz.
Starks has reassured fans on Twitter, stating in a tweet that ‘I’m Good”, while other wrestlers have tweeted their support for the young star.
AEW EVP Cody Rhodes also tweeted about Starks, saying he would be a World Champion one day, a sentiment echo’d by WWE’s Bayley.
