Goldberg and Chris Jericho have been feuding, in one form or another, since their time in WCW. Chris Jericho carried their original feud on the mic, but the match between the pair never came to be.
Luckily, we did get that match in WWE, at Bad Blood 2003.
The bout pitted the technically and wily Chris Jericho against the powerhouse meathead that is Bill Goldberg. It’s a classic dynamic that can produce great matches, as proved at Bad Blood.
Goldberg has always been at his best when he is physically dominating his opponents. Facing a smaller wrestler like Jericho highlighted his immense power, and showed him to be the powerhouse that he is.
