Jamie Noble is making a shock return to the WWE next month for his first match in 7 years. The former Cruiserweight Champion was forced to retire 11 years ago due to injury, but wrestled sparingly since then in multi-man and comedy matches, usually alongside Joey Mercury as “J&J Security”.
Noble is considered one of the best workers of the mid 2000s and was known for his excellent in-ring skills. He is a former Ring of Honor Champion and had incredible matches with Bryan Danielson during his championship reign. He also wrestled him in Daniel Bryan’s WWE debut match and put on a great, yet short bout that wowed fans.
He was stabbed multiple times in 2016 in a near-deadly attack, which looked to have ended any hopes of an in-ring return for the star. However, it seems he is fit enough to wrestle one more match in the WWE and will surely get a great send off when he steps into the ring for the last time.
Jamie Noble announced that he will be returning to the ring on his official Instagram account. He seemed delighted to make the announcement, which states he will wrestle his final match on December 11 at the Charleston Civic Center, Charleston, WV. The full announcement is below;
“It’s Official!! On December 11 at the Charleston Civic Center, Charleston, WV. I will compete for possibly my last time in wrestling under the greatest company of all time WWE.
