The first match for WWE Extreme Rules 2022 has been booked, with Liv Morgan set to defend her Smackdown Women’s Championship against former champion Ronda Rousey. She defended the title successfully earlier this month at “Clash at the Castle”, defeating Shayna Bazler. However, Rousey will be a tougher test and not one to take lightly.
Ronda Rousey won a Five-Way Elimination Match on Friday’s episode of SmackDown to earn a shot at Liv Morgan’s SmackDown Women’s Championship. She defeated four of Smackdown’s top female stars – Lacey Evans, Xia Li, Natalya and Sonya Deville – to earn the shot at Morgan’s Championship. She last submitted Deville with an ankle lock to win the match and set up the bout at Extreme Rules.
