Triple H “Will Never” Be In WWE Hall Of Fame, Says Legend

Triple H‘s WWE Hall of Fame induction as a singles star “will never” happened, according to one WWE legend. The 14-time WWE Champion took over as the head of creative for WWE after the shock retirement of his father-in-law, Vince McMahon, earlier this year.

As the Chairman of the WWE, Vince McMahon never liked himself to be in the spotlight. Whilst he always stole the show on-screen, behind the scenes he always would rather have focused on other talent rather than himself. He admitted himself that he was “shy” on the Stone Cold Podcast, which may go some way as to explaining why he doesn’t want the spotlight shone on him.

This becomes obvious once you realise that Vince McMahon is not in the WWE Hall of Fame. Despite being 77 years old and one of the most influential people in pro-wrestling history, he has never received his Hall of Fame ring. This is because he makes the decision who gets inducted and does not want the ceremony to be about himself. He even forbids his name being mentioned at the Hall of Fame ceremony, although some wrestlers have flaunted those rules when accepting their own induction.

Due to this, it is sensible to assume that Triple H wont be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as a solo star. He already accepted the call in 2019, when D-Generation X were inducted as a group, but despite earning the accolade many times over as a singles star his hall of fame status is seriously in doubt.

It would look arrogant if he were to put himself in the Hall of Fame and that is not the optics he wants to have in his first year taking over the company. He may have to wait for years in the future until he retires to accept his Hall of Fame ring, as Vince McMahon is rumoured to be doing in 2023.

Kevin Nash also thinks that Triple H wont accept a WWE Hall of Fame induction. He himself was put into the hall twice, once as Diesel and once as part of the NWO and is a close friend of The Game, going back to their time travelling together in the 1990s.

Kevin Nash and Triple H were friends and rivals inside the ring

In the latest episode of the Kliq This podcast, hosted by Nash and Sean Oliver, Kevin Nash revealed that he didn’t think Triple H would get into the Hall of Fame but most definitely deserved it after the 25 years plus career he has had in the WWE.

“You know, Paul should be in the Hall of Fame on his own. Triple H should be in the Hall of Fame, but he never will be because he will never put himself in there. […] The DX situation for him was […] they had to get Chyna in, Paul needed to be in, and so on.”

Another star unlikely to be inducted is former DX member Chyna. She is a former WWE Intercontinental Champion and girlfriend of Triple H, who accused him of abuse after their break up. She also started in adult film parodying the WWE, forcing WWE to cut all ties with her until her death in 2016.
