John Cena and The Undertaker are two of the biggest stars in WWE history. Combined they have held 23 World Championships and have battled the greats at countless Wrestlemania events. The Undertaker had the greatest streak in wrestling history, when he went 21-0 at Wrestlemania 29 by defeating CM Punk.
John Cena started out as a young star on Smackdown, but from the mid 2000s onwards he was the biggest star in the company and a dominant force on Monday Night Raw. He held 16 World Championships in WWE, tying the legendary record of Ric Flair and becoming one of the greatest wrestlers to ever live in the process. He was the most popular star in the company and sold record merchandise for a decade, before slowing down and making the move to Hollywood.
Meanwhile, while Cena was dominating on Raw, The Undertaker was doing the same on Smackdown. He made the World Heavyweight Championship his own, with legendary feuds with the likes of Kane, Batista and Edge solidifying the brand as just as good as Raw. His mystical personality and supreme in-ring skills made him a force to be reckoned with, making him the greatest wrestler in the history of WWE.
Due to being stuck on opposite brands, there was little chance of seeing these two men wrestling. But did John Cena every beat The Undertaker in a singles match.
Did John Cena Beat The Undertaker?
Despite spending nearly 20 years at the helm of WWE together, John Cena and The Undertaker only wrestled one-on-one six times. This was due to the two being on opposite brands for the majority of their time in the company, as well as The Deadman slowing down his career to just one match per year for the last few years.
John Cena beat The Undertaker two times in his career. His three wins over The Deadman are as follows;
WWE Smackdown Tapings
April 8 2003
John Cena def. (PIN) The Undertaker
WWE SmackDown Tapings
August 5, 2003

All other matches between the two men ended in victory for The Undertaker. Their last match came at Wrestlemania 34, where The Undertaker beat John Cena in under five minutes in a Wrestlemania dream match, although both men would later admit to being disappointed by how that match went.
