Jon Moxley has confirmed his next match in NJPW, bringing a very special guest with him as his tag team partner.

The former AEW Champion recently unsuccessfully challenged for the NEVER Openweight Six-Man Championships, but looks to bounce back with a match against El Desperado.

El Desperado had been calling Moxley out over a the past few days on social media, and it seems the Blackpool Combat Club man has noticed.

cutting a promo on the official NJPW Twitter account, Jon Moxley confirmed that he will be returning to NJPW at Korakuen Hall on July 4th and 5.

Moxley will be bringing pro wrestling legend Homicide with him and will face off against El Desperado and a tag team partner of his choosing.

Homicide is a legendary Mexican wrestler, most notable for his work in ROH and TNA. He was a key member of the LAX faction, and was touted as being one of the big Latin American stars in the mid-2000s.

Homicide made his AEW debut at Rampage: Grand Slam coming to the rescue of Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston during their Lights Out match against Minoru Suzuki and Lance Archer.

Homicide is also a former ROH Champion, and is a huge get for Jon Moxley as a tag team partner.

He also mentioned his Japan Residence Card, which will allow him to work more and more in Japan over the next few years. This is great for NJPW fans, and will surely be used to build more and more towards the upcoming Forbidden Door PPV.
