Former NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose hints at a return to wrestling, less than a year after being fired by the WWE.
Her record-breaking title reign was ended in December 2022 by Roxanne Perez, and subsequently fired the next day.
The reason was not officially given by the WWE, but it was reported that Mandy Rose was fired for refusing to cease operations of her OnlyFans account, where hse sells explicit photos and videos of herself.
Mandy Rose has stayed out of the spotlight since then, not stepping into the ring since being fired and focusing on her online business instead.
However, Mandy Rose hinted at a return to the ring during her latest Instagram Q&A.
On Instagram, Rose was asked whether she intends to wrestle again and said that she could be a free agent very soon.
The former NXT Women’s Champion replied to the question, saying”Funny you should ask – your girl may or may not be a free agent very soon”.
Mandy Rose could return to WWE in the near future, with the likes of Zelina Vega, Tegan Nox and Nia Jax all returning after being fired by the promotion.
She could also join AEW in 2024, being one of the top female free agents the company should look to sign in the new year, to bolster their women’s division.
