After defending his AEW International Championship at Forbidden Door, it looks like Orange Cassidy could be wrestling against Zack Sabre Jr at All In.
Cassidy is one of the biggest stars in AEW since signing for the company in 2019. He has held he AEW International Championship since last October, defending the title a record 24 times.
His latest defense was against three men at Forbidden Door 2023 – Katsuyori Shibata, Daniel Garcia and most importantly, Zack Sabre Jr.
The English star looked fantastic in the match, being one of the few men to over out-wrestle Orange Cassidy on a technical level.
Their technical battles in the ring were short, but gave fans a flavor of what a Zack Sabre Jr vs Orange Cassidy match could be like.
With All In coming to the UK for the first time, AEW are looking for big matches for British stars to help fill Wembley Stadium.
Pitting Zack Sabre Jr against Orange Cassidy for the AEW International Championship would be one of the biggest matches they could put on, and a perfect match-up for the British crowd.
After the match at Forbidden Door, which saw Orange Cassidy pin Daniel Garcia, Zack Sabre Jr confronted the champion and issued his own warning.
Calling him the less-than-affectionate nickname “Orange Bollocks”, Zack Sabre Jr warned him that this rivalry was not over, and that they would face off one-on-one again.
With only two months left to build up to All In, it seems perfect to build up to a huge AEW International title defense between Orange Cassidy and Zack Sabre Jr.
