Who came up with Crow Sting?

Wrestling legend Sting has revealed he has planned who his last opponent will be – but has confirmed that long-time partner Darby Allin will not be his opponent for his final match.

Speaking to “The Ringer“, the WWE Hall of Famer revealed that he had already decided on who would be a part of his final match but ruled out a first one-on-one match in AEW. He spoke about how he “won’t have a singles match” in AEW, putting the end to rumours that Sting vs Darby Allin would be the final match in The Stinger’s career.

“Well, I know Darby [Allin] is going to be a part of it for sure. I won’t have a singles match at this point. Darby will be along with me and I’ll be along with him and we can add more to it as far as I’m concerned. But I have a few people [in mind] and I really don’t want to say now.”

Fans have speculated about Sting’s last match in AEW and it seemed likely that he’d face long-term tag team partner Darby Allin. However, it now looks like his final battle will be in a tag-team match, likely with Allin on his side as he exits the world of wrestling on his own terms, not like after his Night of Champions match with Seth Rollins in 2015.
