The Usos Want To Wrestle At WrestleMania In Brother vs Brother Match

It’s looking increasingly likely that the long-awaited Jey Uso vs Jimmy Uso will happen at Wrestlemania next year.

The pair have spoken about wanting to face each other, after achieving all they could in the incredible Bloodline storyline.

The sibling rivalry has rarely been teased over the past thirteen years the two has spent in the WWE together.

They have exclusively been tagging together since their debut together in 2010 and have been one of the greatest tag teams of all time during this era.

The two have recently been clashing during the Sami Zayn storyline with The Bloodline. Jey Uso has always been reluctant to allow Zayn to join the group, proving one of the biggest factors for the Canadian being only an “honorary Uce”.

The tension also got Jey kicked out of the group, but he was soon convinced by Sami Zayn that he should be in the Bloodline.

He became close with Zayn after seeing all the sacrifices he made for the family. He now considers him his “brother” and thinks of him more as family than anything else.

However, the group imploded when Jimmy and Jey Uso appeared on different sides of the aisle at the 2023 Royal Rumble.

After Roman Reigns defeated Kevin Owens in the main event of the show, the group handcuffed the former Universal Champion to the ring ropes. The Usos unloaded with an uncomfortable amount of superkicks into the skull of Owens as Sami Zayn watched on in horror.

Slowly, Jey Uso began to show remorse and realise what he was doing. He watched as Roman Reigns handed Sami Zayn a chair to put an end to his friends misery.

He took the chance to protest against the Tribal Chief and smashed him in the back with the steel chair. It evoked memories of Seth Rollins betrayal of the Shield, enraging Reigns to inflict more damage into Zayn than previously thought possible.

Jey Uso stood and watched as Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa beat down Zayn as he lay motionless on the ground. He stared into space, taking in the horrible acts the group had done.

He seemed to re-evaluate his decision to join the group. He remembered the beatdowns he suffered for disenssion before he simply decided to toe the line as the Tribal Chief demanded.

Uncomfortable with the pain suffered by Sami Zayn, he walked out. Jimmy Uso was visibly furious with his twin brother and continued to attack Sami Zayn, almost in protest.

The Usos eventually got back to together, losing the titles at WrestleMania to Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens.

They soon turned on Roman Reigns, defeating him and Solo Sikoa at Money in the Bank 2023, putting an end to “The Bloodline” once and for all.

While they seem stronger than ever, the pair could still split up and wrestle, making Jimmy Uso vs Jey Uso one of the most intriguing matches ever.

Jimmy Uso vs Jey Uso

If the split does happen, it’s likely that Jimmy Uso vs Jey Uso will take place at WrestleMania 40

WWE fans never thought they’d see the two twins facing off against once another. In the past, they were so similar in look and personality that there never really seemed any point.

However, now that Jey Uso has developed one of the most complex characters WWE has seen in years, it seems the perfect time to run Jey vs Jimmy Uso on the biggest stage possible.

Many people think that Sami Zayn is the protagonist of The Bloodline story. However, for many it is clear that it is the story of Jey Uso, overcoming corruption from Roman Reigns and facing off with his inner conflict, personified as his twin brother who will stop at nothing to do the bidding of the Tribal Chief, even if it means hurting family.

That’s not very Ucey.

While the pair do not want to split up, they have admitted it to be a possibility.

While speaking to Ariel Helwani of BT Sport, they realized that it has naturally happened, and has given the pair the chance to move into singles action.

“We never pitched a split. This naturally, organically happened. If Jey is the one right now, let’s go, and Vice versa. What’s kept us wanting to be a tag team has put us here today. We’ve been so, ‘we’re going to be the best damn tag team in the world,’ which we are. Now we also have a chance to be the best damn singles champion ever.”

The Usos Want To Wrestle Each Other At WrestleMania

It’s not just fans who want to see Jimmy Uso vs Jey Uso – the brothers themselves want to face off at WrestleMania!

While they have already headlined WrestleMania [against Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 39], they want to go back to the match they pretended to have in their living room as children, for the first twin vs twin match at WrestleMania.

Speaking to Ariel Helwani of BT Sport, The Usos revealed that their dream is to wrestle each other at WrestleMania, something they have yet to achieve.

“Before our career is done. That’s our number one dream of happening. Me vs. him at WrestleMania. It’s like back in the living room. From day one, this is what we always wanted to do. I want my dad to be involved. I want my whole family to run this thing. Me being against my brother, my heart would be filled with joy.”
