Charlotte Flair was written off TV after her Wrestlemania Backlash to Ronda Rousey on May 8th due to injury, with her return seemingly unknown. However, the reason was for a real injury it turns out, and it was actually for her to get married!
Flair and AEW star Andrade El Idolo have been together for a number of years, with Andrade reportedly close with her father Ric Flair. The duo appeared together in AAA in Andrade’s match against Kenny Omega, and Ric Flair was set to manage him in AEW before his actions on the Plane Ride from Hell came to light.
Andrade El Ídolo hasn’t made an appearance since late April, when he lost to Darby Allin in a Coffin Match on AEW Dynamite and was written off TV for the time being.
However for as long as they have been together, are Charlotte Flair and Andrade El Idolo married?
Are Charlotte Flair and Andrade Married?
Yes, Charlotte Flair and Andrade El Idolo are married. The pair tied the not in a ceremony on a farm in Andrade’s hometown of Torreón in Mexico. It was a casual ceremony as requested by Charlotte Flair, with the 36 year old wanting to represent “Ashley Fleihr” and not her in-ring character.
The wrestling business was well represented in the ceremony, as Nia Jax was one Charlotte’s eight bridesmaids, and dad Ric walked her down the aisle.
WWE Superstar Rey Mysterio without his mask on was also present at the wedding, as were 8 of Andrade El Idolo’s uncles.
The couple, who’ve been together since 2019 and got engaged a year later, is now off to Costa Rica for a honeymoon. It is not Charlotte Flair’s first wedding, as she was previously wedded to TNA’s Bram for a short while while they were in NXT.
