Recent reports have revealed that WWE is planning to have Bobby Lashley vs Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship at the next Saudi Pay Per View, Super Showdown 2022.
Brock Lesnar pinned Big E to win the WWE Championship at WWE Day 1, after being added to the main event match just hours before the show. He was due to face Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship, but Reigns positive Covid test caused the match to be cancelled.
Brock Lesnar stared down with Bobby Lashley after winning the WWE Championship, setting up their match in Saudi Arabia. The pair have been rumoured to be facing each other since Lashley returned to WWE in 2017. They are two of the biggest stars in WWE, and the match was said to be requested by the Saudi Prince responsible for funding WWE’s shows.
Before Lesnar vs Lashley, Lesnar will defend his WWE Championship against former Champion Big E at Royal Rumble 2022. He is likely to go on to face Roman Reigns in the main event of Wrestlemania 37, although it is unknown which championship would be on the line.
