Fans of WWE will know The Beast Brock Lesnar as one of the greatest WWE superstars of all time. The former UFC Champion from South Dakota is an 11-time World Champion, with 10 reigns in WWE and a single IWGP Heavyweight Champion run in NJPW in the mid 2000s.
Every since his debut in WWE in 2002, he has wowed crowds with his terrifying demeanour and incredibly brutal in-ring style. He has won every accolade he went after in WWE, include two Royal Rumble victories and even ending The Undertaker’s undefeated streak at Wrestlemania.
He has had some incredible moments in WWE. These include defeating The Undertaker at Wrestlemania XXX, squashing John Cena for the WWE Championship at Summerslam 2014, and destroying the ring in a match with Big Show in a match on Smackdown in 2003.
However, whilst he grew up as a farm boy on his parents farm in South Dakota and ran his own farm in Minnesota, Brock Lesnar moved to Canada in 2014 after selling his farming and moving his family north of the boarder.
But, is Brock Lesnar Canadian?
Is Brock Lesnar Canadian?
Yes, Brock Lesnar is Canadian. He is a dual citizen of both the United States and Canada, gained through years of living on his farm in Saskatchewan in Canada. Brock Lesnar and his wife Sable move their family to Saskatchewan in Canada in 2014 after selling their farm in Minnesota and began their life in Canada.
Brock Lesnar moved partially to Canada for the isolated nature of the land in Saskatchewan. On the Stone Cold Podcast on the WWE Network, Lesnar revealed he “doesn’t like people” and he likes being alone of his farm with his family. He also added that he has no phone line, and has to walk half a mile down the road to a pay phone to make contact with the outside world.
Brock Lesnar is proud of his Canadian citizenship which he has gained over the years. At UFC 200, where he faced Mark Hunt in a main event bout, he was announced as fighting out of Saskatchewan, Canada, rather than the usual Minnesota, United States as he previously was.
His official Reebok Walkout Jersey that he wore to the ring at UFC 200 also celebrated his newfound Canadian lifestyle. The shirt bore the Maple Leaf of Canada, as seen on the Canadian flag, as opposed to the United States Stars and Stripes that he previously adorned on his jersey.
Where does Brock Lesnar live?
As mentioned, Brock Lesnar currently lives in Saskatchewan, Canada. Whilst the exact location of his home is unknown, we do know that the 11 time world champion currently lives in Maryfield in Saskatchewan. He grew on a dairy farm which is where he learned his work ethic and his love of farming which he has taken into later life.
