The latest Bray Wyatt news has WWE fans happy as the former WWE Champion looks poised to return to wrestling, and could be sooner than you think.
News on Bray Wyatt’s WWE Return
Some huge news about Bray Wyatt’s WWE return has come out in recent weeks, with many now expecting the former WWE Champion to make his comeback soon, now that Triple H is in charge.
The latest reports by Xero News claim that Bray Wyatt could be back in the company already, with their being “a belief” that has re-signed with WWE after a year away. This would be a huge get for the struggling main event scene in WWE and could help launch Bray Wyatt as a huge star in the company, as he was before he was released in 2021.
In addition, Fightful Select have reported that now more than ever, Bray Wyatt is likely to return to WWE rather than retire, or sign elsewhere like AEW, ROH or NJPW.
However, as of the time of writing, there are no concrete reports of when Wyatt will return to WWE. His comeback is expected soon by many backstage and could come as early as Clash at the Castle in September. A spate of injuries has plagued the roster in recent months and his re-emergence in the company would be a huge help to lighten the load carried by Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre.
Bray Wyatt has not wrestled since leaving WWE, so he should be all healed up for whatever injuries he had prior to leaving. His last match in WWE was a battle against Randy Orton at Wrestlemania, which he lost after he was spookily turned on by Alexa Bliss, who had a similar gimmick to him at the time.
The news of Bray Wyatt’s return has been huge on social media with many fans excited to see the fan favourite wrestler return to the ring, after being unjustly fired during the pandemic in the summer of 2021.
The source regarding his return does have previous when reporting WWE comebacks. Prior to the news of Wyatt’s return, they reported Karrion Kross’ return to the company which came true this past Monday Night Raw.
Cryptic Posts Tease A Huge Return
Bray Wyatt has teased his comeback to wrestling multiple times on Twitter, with the most recent one coming a cryptic tweet that references WWE, AEW and ROH. In the message to his followers, he wrote that wrestling is a “fairy tale for masochists.” and seemed to absolve WWE for the budget cuts that cost him his job, citing “Business is Business”.
He reference Ring of Honor and AEW in the same breathe, hinting at potentially signing for the Tony Khan owned promotion. He could be following Eric Rowan and Luke Harper (the late Brodie Lee) in making appearances for AEW, based off saying “When Honor makes you Elite” in his cryptic post.
He also referenced other WWE legends like The Rock, Kane and even Ric Flair (who had his last match this month at the age of 73!) in his final paragraph. Bray Wyatt said “Where Demons run for office. And Rock bottom is a reason to rejoice. WOOOOO! It’s an escape. A reason to point the blame at anyone but yourself for 2-3 hours. An excuse to be a kid again, and nothing matters except the moment we are in. Wrestling is not a love story, it’s much more. It’s hope,”
His latest tweet could hint towards a return to wrestling for Bray Wyatt and recent news coming out of inside sources backs up that claim. We could be seeing The Eater of Worlds back between the ropes before we know it, especially now Triple H has taken charge of WWE creative.
Triple H Being In Charge Is The Biggest Thing For Bray Wyatt’s Comeback
With Vince McMahon recently retiring due to a multi-million dollar sex scandal, son-in-law and WWE legend Triple H has taken over the reigns of WWE creative. This is huge news for a number of WWE superstars who have been neglected by Vince and now have the chance to make their names under the new regime.
Triple H has already shown a willingness to bring back some of his former favourites. Karrion Kross and Dexter Lumis, two NXT stars of Triple H’s who were recently let go due to budget cuts, were brought back on Monday Night Raw and immediately became stars on the roster. Coupled with the emergence of NXT stars like Tommaso Ciampa, some of The Game’s projects have a chance to become top stars again.
This is big for Bray Wyatt’s comeback. If Wyatt does return he will have Triple H to answer to, the man who gave him creative freedom in NXT to create the iconic character that helped him become the WWE Champion. The Game is clearly a fan of The Eater of Worlds and the pairing could help catapult Bray Wyatt into being the top star in all of wrestling in just a few short years.
Vince McMahon’s resignation was huge news for Bray Wyatt, who may view it his shot to return to WWE and finally get the control over his character that he craves. He could main event Wrestlemania’s for years to come and will go down as a legend in the ring if HHH brings him back for another run in WWE.
