Seth Rollins has revealed the reason why he not long wears his famous white attire in WWE, after 8 years since it’s last outing. He last wore his incredible gear during two matches at Summerslam 2015. He dressed in white-and-gold in his win against John Cena for the United States Championship, then the later victory over Sting at the event while defending his WWE Championship.
The former WWE Champion’s white gear has become famous as one of the greatest one-time attires in the history of wrestling. But why doesn’t Seth Rollins wear his white attire anymore? The Architect of the Shield reveals all!
Seth Rollins White Attire
Seth Rollins stopped wearing his special white gear because Vince McMahon didn’t like and is a “weird old man”. This shocking revelation was heard on a now-deleted Twitter video where Rollins was asked by a fan why he doesn’t wear his iconic Summerslam 2015 gear anymore.
Such an innocent question seemed to affect Seth Rollins a lot, as he clearly was a big fan of his white attire, as were many WWE fans. He clamed that Vince McMahon “doesn’t understand” that his gear was revered as an all-time look and that it was “coolest gear” ever, according to some fans.
In the video regarding Seth Rollins white attire, The Architect said when asked why Vince McMahon doesn’t like the white gear, “Because he’s a weird old man that doesn’t understand that people think it’s the coolest gear they’ve ever seen. He doesn’t get it.”
With stories about Vince McMahon backstage recently forcing him to retire, it is no wonder that the wrestlers behind the scenes think that he is out of touch. The CM Punk Pipebomb Promo touched upon this and there have been countless other times that former stars have spoken badly about the WWE Chairman.
The video of Seth Rollins, who has not worn that white attire since Summerslam 2015, was removed from the internet shortly after publishing. Whether this was by the request of Rollins himself, WWE or anyone else is unknown, but at the moment we cannot find the video in question, but have reliable sources that it did in fact exist.
The Seth Rollins white gear is not to be confused with the Seth Rollins White Walker gear.
White Walker Gear From Wrestlemania
At Wrestlemania 34, Seth Rollins White Walker gear was the talk of the show. The former WWE Champion was inspired by the hit TV show Game of Thrones and it’s evil zombie-type characters The White Walkers.
Rollins entered for his match against The Miz and Finn Balor dressed like famous character The Night King. He wore the armour similar to the one wore by the character in Game of Thrones, as well as icy-coloured contact lenses in his eyes to further match the look.
His entrance was also inspired by it, with a snowy and icy theme apparent on his titantron, as well as a large face similar to the Night King on the titantron.
The new attire was a success, as Seth Rollins defeat his two opponents in the opening match of Wrestlemania 34 to win the Intercontinental Championship. It was one of the best matches of the night and helped cement Seth Rollins, in his White Walker Attire, as one of the most exciting stars in the company.
