Amid the controversy surrounding Vince McMahon, it has been revealed that his marriage to his wife is not as happy as most thought. Recent reports have shed light on the pairs marriage and have looked into their relationship after accusations of cheating on behalf of McMahon
Vince McMahon and Linda McMahon are not longer together, despite still being legally married. The pair live in separate states, with Linda having residence in Florida whilst Vince helms the WWE at their headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut.
The news began to come out when leaks of a relationship between Vince McMahon and a paralegal began circulating around the internet. The 76 year old billionaire was reported sleeping with his employee, whilst doubling her pay from $100,000 to $200,000 after their relationship began.
The relationship also involved WWE Head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis. While sleeping with the paralegal in question (whose identity has not been revealed), McMahon reportedly “gave her like a toy” to Laurinaitis, which if true opens up a whole new level of misconduct on the Chairman’s part.
With Vince McMahon broken up from his wife of five decades, he did nothing wrong by sleeping with women outside the relationship. While sleeping with a woman in his employ is unethical but not illegal, doubling her salary after a sexual relationship, with company money, is definitely something that could cause WWE to fire Vince McMahon.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer confirmed that Vince and Linda were not longer together, despite being married, in an episode of Wrestling Observer Radio.
“Technically they’re married. I mean, they haven’t been together in a long, long time though.”
The information coming out about Vince McMahon’s recent nefarious sexual relationships was reportedly one of the reasons why Stephanie McMahon took a step back from the company last month. Dave Meltzer also confirmed that Stephanie McMahon was aware of the investigation before taking a leave of absence although it is unclear as to whether the two things are connected.
