Wrestlemania 30 (stylised as Wrestlemania XXX) was the thirtieth edition of WWE’s biggest pay per view and the culmination of thirty years of WWE’s dominance in the world of professional wrestling. It featured the culmination of a number of stories, the end of the most legendary streak in sports-entertainment history and the appearance of three of WWE’s most legendary stars (Hulk Hogan, The Rock and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin)

Wrestlemania 30 was broadcast from the Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, on 5th November, 2022. This page will detail the Wrestling Observer Newsletter‘s Dave Meltzer’s Star Ratings for WWE Wrestlemania 30, looking at every match on the card. We will also detail the Cagematch rating for the event.
Cagematch is a website which aggregates fans opinions on wrestling match. Fans can log on and rank the matches on a scale of zero to ten, which then calculates an average score for the matches. Great matches can expect a 9+ rating while the worst matches may not even be worth giving a rating to at all.

Only matches over 5 minutes may be rated on the website. This means matches like Hulk Hogan vs Kevin Nash’s “Fingerpoke of Doom” will not be included, even though it would get a historically low score if it was. The highest rated match on the site is the Kazuchika Okada vs Kitsuyori Shibata match was NJPW Sakura Genesis 2017.

Wrestlemania 30 was one of the best Wrestlemania events of all time and one of the last truly great events in WWE history. The show featured the culmination of a year-long story for Daniel Bryan, who triumphed in two matches (against Triple H, Randy Orton and Batista) to overcome the odds and become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion for the third time in his career.

It also featured the end of the legendary undefeated Streak of The Undertaker. The Deadman suffered a concussion as he fell to the might of The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar in a match that shocked the world and left the whole wrestling fanbase not believing what they had just seen.

In other matches, The Shield took on the New Age Outlaws and Kane, Cesaro won the inaugural Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, John Cena faced the demonic Bray Wyatt in the latter’s Wrestlemania debut and AJ Lee defended her WWE Divas Championship in an anarchic 15-diva free-for-all match.
