The next guest to join Stone Cold Steve Austin on his hit WWE Network show “Broken Skull Sessions” has been revealed as former WCW Champion and TNA founder Jeff Jarrett.
WWE Tweeted out an image of Austin and Jarrett in the studio, revealing that their episode of the Broken Skull Sessions will go live on the WWE Network on June 3rd 2022.
The former Bullet Club member (yes, really) was a pariah from WWE for years after holding Vince McMahon up for money owed in 1998. He was personally called out by Vince on the last ever WCW Monday Nitro as one wrestler who would not get a WWE contract.
However as proved by the likes of Ultimate Warrior and Bruno Sammartino, no-one is beyond reprieve in the WWE. Despite founding the rival to WWE in the 2000s (TNA), Jeff Jarrett was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2018 with a celebration of his career in both WWE and WCW.
He later made appearances in the Royal Rumble and beyond, having segments with Road Dogg and Elias in a short but memorable return to WWE. He later wrestled on the independent scene and even in NJPW.
Jeff Jarrett also host his own podcast “My World” alongside Conrad Thompson, but it is on Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions where Slapnuts will tall the story of his career on the WWE Network.
Jeff Jarrett and Steve Austin
Jeff Jarrett will be the latest in a long line of stars to appear on Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions, marking his first appearance in WWE since January 2022. He will talk about his whole career, with Austin never being shy of bringing up the likes of TNA and AEW.
Jarrett follows in the footsteps on WWE stars to appear on the Broken Skull Sessions including Cody Rhodes, Bubba Ray Dudley, Ron Simmons, Becky Lynch, Seth Rollins, DDP, Randy Orton, Bobby Lashley, Kevin Nash, Chris Jericho, Sasha Banks, Drew McIntyre, Bill Goldberg, Ric Flair, Big Show, The Undertaker, Kane, Jerry Lawler, Mark Henry, Bret Hart, Jeff Hardy, and Mick Foley.
The interview may be awkward one, with Steve Austin famously refusing to work with Jeff Jarrett in his peak, which will certainly be brought up in the interview in a jovial manner, with the incident now long in the past nearly a quarter of a decade ago.
