WWE Hall of Famer Harley Race has appeared in a WWE game for the first time ever. The former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion was added into WWE 2K23, and instantly became a fan favourite addition.
The legendary wrestler was one of the most popular wrestlers of the 1970s, winning multiple world titles and touring the country as the top wrestler in the world.
Harley Race is an eight time world champion, so it is a shock he was never included in the WWE video games until now.
Race is one of six men to have been inducted into each of the WWE Hall of Fame, the NWA Hall of Fame, the WCW Hall of Fame, the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame and the Wrestling Observer Newsletter Hall of Fame.
He is famous for his battles with Ric Flair over the world title, the two competing over the NWA World Title near the start of the Nature Boy’s career.

How To Unlock Harley Race In WWE 2K23?
Harley Race is included in WWE 2K23 as part of the “Race To NXT” DLC pack. The DLC pack from the online store of your chosen console. The pack costs £7.99 in the UK or $9.99 in the United States.
The pack is also available if you purchase the Season Pass, which cost £24.99 in the UK or $29.99 in the US.
The season pass is available with purchase of the special editions of WWE 2K22. The WWE 2K Icon and Deluxe Versions of the game include, among other things, the WWE 2K23 Season Pass, which will unlock the Race to NXT pack.
It also unlocks all unlockable legends on the same, as well as all other packs available for purchase in the game via the online store of choice.
Once purchased, Harley Race has no special requirements. Once downloaded he will be available to use in Exhibition Mode, Universe Mode and MyGM mode and you can create custom attires for him to your heart’s content.
One example is his blue attire from his classic cage match against Ric Flair for the NWA World’s Heavyweight Championship, which you will be able to create easily in the character creation suite.
The “Race to NXT” pack contains not just Harley Race, however. His inclusion is surprising, as he never appeared in NXT, but the pack does feature a host of other current NXT wrestlers.
