Adam Page Making His Entrance At AEW Revolution 2023

Adam Page debuted new entrance music at AEW Revolution 2023 before his huge win against Jon Moxley in a Texas Death Match

The match featured blood, barbed wire and a fork (no, really) among many other ways to inflict the ultimate amount of violence upon one another. It was an iconic match and one of the best “hardcore” matches in wrestling history.

However, it was not just the brutal match which had the attention of wrestling fans. All around the world, AEW’s viewers were expecting to hear the familiar whistles of Hangman’s entrance music “Ghost Town Triumph”.

However, he instead came out to something a little bit special. Instead of his signature entrance, the arena was instead lit up in red and a new song passed through the arena speakers.

Adam Page New Entrance Music

“Hangman” Adam Page debuted new entrance music at AEW Revolution 2023. As fans expected to hear “Ghost Town Triumph” accompany him for his entrance, they quickly got a big surprise.

Suddenly, the familiar sound of “(Ghost) Riders In The Sky” by The Outlaws blared through the arena. The song was originally performed by Stan Jones, but was most famously covered by country legend Johnny Cash.

The version used by “Hangman” Adam Page as his new entrance music was “Ghost Riders In The Sky” by Florida-based Rock Band The Outlaws. Members of the Western Writers of America chose it as the greatest Western song of all time.

The slow, deliberate opening was a perfect start to what would become a brutal death match. The slow, sombre opening gave gravitas to a huge, career defining match. It gave Page a moment to think about what he was about to do.

The theme of the “Ghost Rider” also played into the story of the match. The song tells a folk tale of a cowboy who has a vision of red-eyed, steel-hooved cattle thundering across the sky, being chased by the spirits of damned cowboys. One warns him that if he does not change his ways, he will be doomed to join them,

This could be a warning to “Hangman” Adam Page. If he continues to match Jon Moxley, a man who loves violence and inflicting as much pain as he can, he will become something he does not recognise.

In the build up to the match at AEW Revolution 2023, Page admitted that he hated violence. Perhaps the use of the song implies that this is not something Hangman should do and that he needs to go back to his old ways to find himself.

Perhaps this could lead to a more permanent reunion with the Dark Order down the line.

Given that “Hangman” Adam Page won the match against Jon Moxley, it looks like this feud is over. Page can move away from Moxley and not been doomed to a life of barbed wire and shattered glass and instead move forward to reclaiming the AEW Championship he lost to CM Punk last year,

Whatever happens, I hope he keeps the song. Adam Page’s new entrance music for the event is a classic song and one that works perfectly for him as a character.

His old music is an iconic tune, but it’s never too late to change things up. (Ghost) Riders in the sky is a classic song and could be perfect to use as entrance music. Maybe not for every match, but certainly for big, high stakes matches on pay per view.

Fans have called this Adam Page’s best entrance ever. However, others still think that his entrance alongside the Dark Order in 2021 is his best.
