CM Punk & FTR To Headline AEW Collision, The Elite Remain On Dynamite

All Elite Wrestling is set to announce a brand-new TV show, adding two more hours their already packed weekly schedule.

It was reported that AEW’s new Saturday night show is believed to be called Collision and will air on TNT starting June 17th 2023.

This show is set to take place in Chicago, and see the return of CM Punk to AEW, for the first time since his controversial press conference following All Out 2022.

Along with his return to the ring, AEW look set to debut another big name, although they are keeping tight-lipped on who this new signing could be.

Rumours that Goldberg or Kota Ibushi could be the new signing have been swirling, and fans cannot wait for the huge new show for AEW.

However, one thing that has been reported by Dave Meltzer, in the Wrestling Observer, is the planned brand split for AEW, and which shows both CM Punk and The Elite will be a part of.

AEW’s Brand Split – CM Punk vs The Elite

AEW Collision is set to be announced by Tony Khan, and will be headlined by one of their biggest stars.

One of the biggest names that will be featured on AEW Collision is CM Punk, who has been making headlines ever since he returned to professional wrestling in 2021.

Punk is known for his incredible in-ring skills and his ability to cut promos that captivate audiences, but recently faced controversy for his backstage fight with The Elite.

Another name that will be featured on AEW Collision is FTR, a tag team consisting of Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood.

FTR is known for their old-school approach to professional wrestling, with a focus on technical wrestling and storytelling. They have already made a name for themselves in AEW, and their inclusion on AEW Collision will give them the opportunity to shine even more.

FTR are the current AEW Tag Team Champion, having beaten The Gunns to win the belts earlier this month.

They are also firm friends with CM Punk, and have been championing for his return to the company ever since his suspension back in August 2022.

On the other hand, AEW Dynamite will feature the stars that faced most of the ire of CM Punk, during his All Out press conference.

One of the biggest names that will be featured on AEW Dynamite is The Elite, a faction consisting of Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, and Adam Cole. The Elite is known for their over-the-top antics and incredible in-ring abilities, and their inclusion on AEW Dynamite will make for some must-see television.

Overall, the brand split is an exciting development for AEW and its fans. With two distinct shows, AEW will be able to showcase the incredible talent on its roster in new and exciting ways.

Whether you prefer pure wrestling or high-energy entertainment, there will be something for everyone on AEW Collision and AEW Dynamite.
