Dax Harwood has revealed that he and Eddie Kingston once almost got into a fight backstage at AEW. The two All Elite Wrestling stars are both known to speak their minds and came to a head one night during one AEW taping.
Dax Harwood was full of praise for Kingston on the episode of his podcast. He likened Eddie Kingston to Dusty Rhodes and revealed how he helped him through some tough times he had with mental health. The pair remain firm friends and tell them they love one another every day that they meet.
However, sometimes in heated environments even the best of friends can fall out. This happened with the FTR member and Eddie Kingston, backstage in AEW during an unnamed show. The pair almost came to blows during an argument once, which Dax Harwood labelled as “funny”. The next day the pair apologised to one another and it was all quashed, although Harwood would like to have Kingston on the show to discuss the incident one day.
On a recent edition of the FTR podcast, Dax Harwood spoke about his fight with Eddie Kingston, claiming;
“I can’t say enough good things about Eddie. I think he’s a great human being, someone who texts me on the regular just to ask how my wife and daughter are doing. Everytime I see him, we hug, tell each other we love each other. He asks about my family all the time, I ask about his family. We have almost got in a fight before, which is very funny. We apologized the very next day, but it’s because we’re just two proud guys. Cooler heads prevailed, and we’ll talk about it one day. Maybe I’ll have him on the show, he and I can talk about it. It’s something that we laugh about now.”
Eddie Kingston nor Dax Harwood are currently booked on the AEW Revolution 2023 card, with the event set to take place on Sunday 5th March, 2023
