Finn Balor is a lifelong Tottenham Hotspur fan, having followed the team since he was a young boy in Ireland.

With Irish stars like Robbie Keane and Matt Douerty playing for Spurs over the years, there’s no wonder why Balor was drawn to supporting the North London side.

While success has been limited for Spurs over the years, a resiliant Balor has remained loyal to his side, through thick and thin.

While speaking to Fox Sports, Finn Balor revealed the reasons he began supporting Tottenham Hotspur as a child.

He noted that his older brother was a huge influence, as he supports Spurs before Balor did.

However, it was also the big stars at the time, like Gary Lineker and Paul Gascoigne, who helped Balor fall in love with Spurs as a child.

“Obviously, my older brother was a Tottenham fan as well,” Finn Balor revealed,” But at the time, Gary Lineker, Paul Gascoigne – you know, Tottenham was ‘glory, glory Tottenham Hotspur’ on there. You know, I was hooked from a young age.”

Finn Balor has continued supporting Tottenham Hotspur since a young age, and has followed them all over the globe.

He was even travelled to Madrid to watch Spurs player Liverpool in the 2019 Champions League final. This was their first ever Champions League Final, but they unfortunately lost 2-0, to goals from Mohammad Salah and Divok Origi.

However, Finn Balor did not go away empty-handed that night. This match was the first time he was spotted in public with his now-wife, Vero Rodriguez.

It is unknown where the pair first met and began dating. Balor was first seen with Rodriguez at the 2019 Champions League Final, where they watched Balor’s Tottenham Hotspur lose to Liverpool in the final.
