Darby Allin and Sting are two of the most exciting and popular wrestlers in All Elite Wrestling (AEW). Darby Allin, a rising star in the wrestling world, has quickly become a fan favourite thanks to his intense and fearless approach in the ring.

He has a unique style that combines elements of skateboarding and punk rock with traditional wrestling moves, and he often puts his body on the line in his matches.

Despite his young age and relative inexperience, Darby Allin has already won multiple championships in AEW and is widely regarded as one of the most promising talents in the company.

Sting, on the other hand, is a legend in the wrestling world. He made his name in the 1980s and 1990s in WCW and WWE, and his iconic look and signature moves have made him one of the most recognizable wrestlers of all time.

In AEW, Sting has brought his years of experience and expertise to the company, serving as a mentor and coach to young wrestlers like Darby Allin.

He has also been involved in some high-profile matches, including a cinematic match against Darby Allin and his tag team match with Darby against Brian Cage and Ricky Starks.

Despite their different backgrounds and styles, Darby Allin and Sting have developed a close bond in AEW. They have teamed up several times, with Sting acting as a mentor and guide to Darby in and out of the ring.

Their chemistry and mutual respect are evident in their matches, and they have quickly become one of the most popular duos in AEW.

With their unique blend of experience, talent, and charisma, Darby Allin and Sting are sure to continue making waves in the wrestling world for years to come. But are they related? is Darby Allin actually the son of the legendary Sting?

Is Darby Allin Sting’s Son?

While they do share a ring on a regular basis and wear similar face paint, Darby Allin is not Sting’s son.

The pair do not share any familial ties, and are simply friends and co-workers behind the scenes in AEW.

Sting is from California, whilst Darby Allin grew up in Seattle, Washington. Based on that, they are not father and son, but that is not the only evidence.

Darby Allin has never claimed to be Sting’s son. The former TNT Champion has been joked about a lot regarding the issue, with his presentation as the protégée of Sting leading some to believe he is his son.

Sting is 64 years old, 34 years old older than Darby Allin (30). It is possible that he could have been his dad, given the suitable age gap between the two AEW superstars. However, they are simply just coworkers.

Sting does have three children, though. He and his ex-wife have two sons, Garrett Lee and Steven, Jr. and a daughter named Gracie, who was born in 2000. He remarried in 2015, but did not have any more children.

Neither man has ever claimed to be the other’s father, or son. It probably would have come up when they wrestled alongside each other, multiple times, in AEW. It would have been one of the first father vs son tag team in the company’s history.

While he hasn’t spoken much about his father, Darby Allin was known to be close to his uncle. Allin was in the car when his uncle crashed, killing himself and injuring his nephew.

In an interview with Sports Illustrated, Darby Allin revealed that his face paint was born out of tragedy and that the reason he paints is face is due to him losing a family member in a horrific accident.

“I paint my face because 50 percent of me is dead inside. When I was five, my uncle was driving drunk. I was in the car with him. We crashed and he passed away,”

Other wrestlers that aren’t Darby Allin’s father include Jon Moxley (his former rival), CM Punk (they have no relation) or Tay Conti (she is a woman).
