“Hangman” Adam Page is gearing up for a huge match against Jon Moxley at AEW Revolution 2023. He will then hopefully move on to some more battled for the AEW Championship and establish himself as the top star in All Elite Wrestling.
While his future in the company is currently unknown, one question still begs to be answered – is Hangman Adam Page related to “All Ego” Ethan Page?
Are Adam Page and Ethan Page Related?
The true answer is no, Hangman Adam Page is not related to Ethan Page. Adam Page is a 30 year old former teacher from Halifax, Virginia. He grew up in Virginia and attended Virginia Tech University. He majored in communications and had aspirations of becoming a filmmaker. However, he eventually went into teaching, but left the profession after finding another creative outlet – professional wrestling.
Adam Page debuted in Ring of Honor in 2011 and soon became friends with The Young Bucks – Nick and Matt Jackson. This helped him find his way into the Bullet Club and eventually joined the pair in New Japan. This is where he met Kenny Omega, and along with Cody Rhodes would form one of the greatest factions of the modern era – The Elite.
Along with the Elite, Page formed All Elite Wrestling, an alternative to WWE. It proved to be a massive success, drawing over a million viewers a week and drawing tens of thousands of fans to their pay per views. Page went on a three-year journey to become the AEW Champion, eventually beating his former friend Kenny Omega at Full Gear 2021 to become the fourth ever AEW Champion.
However, he is not the only Page to wrestle in AEW. Ethan Page and Adam Page are not related but have both wrestled for All Elite Wrestling (AEW). Adam Page, also known as Hangman, has been a consistent member of the roster since it’s debut, while Ethan Page signed for the company in early 2021.

Ethan Page left Impact Wrestling in 2021 to sign for AEW, making his debut in March 2021. He made his first appearance in the company at AEW Revolution 2021 as the Joker card in the Casino Ladder Match. He was much hyped after his stellar work as part of The North in Impact and hoped to become a future main event star in the company.
Page soon began a partnership with Scorpio Sky with a tag team named Men of the Year. They soon joined forces with Dan Lambert’s American Top Team and embarked in feuds with big stars like Sting, Darby Allin and Chris Jericho’s Inner Circle.
He has since left his team with Scorpio Sky and joined up with another faction, The Firm. The group were created by Stokely Hathaway to help MJF win the AEW Championship, with Ethan Page as the centrepiece. The group also include with Lee Moriarty, Colten Gunn, Austin Gunn, and W. Morrissey.
Ethan Page and Adam Page are not related and have not yet faced with one another. Adam Page has been in the main event scene since before Ethan Page signed for the company, and the latter has been wrestling in midcard feuds ever since.
However, this has not quelled any tension between the two men who share a last name. During an interview with the Wrestling Observer, Ethan Page had some unkind words to say (jokingly) towards Hangman. He called him a “piece of sh*t” for having the same last name as him, but then confirmed that he was joking and that the pair were actually cousins.
However, that was a joke and the pair are not really cousins. Adam Page is born and raised in Halifax, Virginia while Ethan Page grew up much further north across the boarder, in Ontario, Canada.
