Lacey Evans announced her release from the WWE on August 15th, 2023.
She changed her Instagram bio to say FKA (formerly known as) WWE Superstar Lacey Evans, indicating her release from the WWE.
She also changed her Twitter name in the past few days, fuelling speculation that she could be on the way out of the WWE.
Lacey Evans recently got into a spat with Sgt. Slaughter over her military credentials – ironic, given the issues with stolen valor Slaughter has had other the years.
WWE have yet to issue a statement about Lacey Evans release.
Lacey Evans joined WWE in 2016, signing on to the NXT Brand after a stint in the US Marines.
She quickly took up a military “pin up” gimmick, although regularly failed to get over with the crowd despite constant gimmick changes.
