Ring of Honor have revealed a new redesign of the ROH Championship.
The title has been held by Claudio Castagnoli since he beat Chris Jericho for the title in December 2022.
Tbe ROH World Championship has been the same since Tony Khan purchased the company in early 2022.
However, along with the ROH Tag Team Championships, the Ring of Honor World Championship has been redesigned in time for ROH Supercard of Honor 2023 this week.
In a pre-recorded interview on Ring of Honor TV, Claudio Castagnoli spoke about his upcoming match with Eddie Kingston.
However, he also subtly revealed the new belt design, holding the new title in his lap for the entirety of the interview.
The ROH Championship title design changing was a shock, with no rumours previously going around regarding the alteration.
The new belt keeps the vibe of the original, without looking as dated as the original. It has a classic feel to it, representing the storied history of Ring of Honor.
