WWE Hall of Famer Tully Blanchard has been released from AEW, according to a recent report. The former Four Horsemen member has long been a manager in AEW, with his list of clients including Shawn Spears and FTR.

He made his ROH debut at Super Card of Honor, revealing himself as the new manager of Brian Cage. Tully Blanchard also added tag team The Gates of Agony (Toa Liona and Kaun) to his roster, forming the faction Tully Blanchard Enterprises.

However, that was his last appearance with the company. With his clients having two matches on last nights Death Before Dishonor, Tully Blanchard was surprisingly nowhere to be seen. Even more surprising, on the Death Before Dishonor pre-show, Prince Nana made a surprise appearance to announce that he had purchased Tully Blanchard Enterprises

Prince Nana returned to ROH to confirm his purchase of Tully Blanchard Enterprises

He promptly renamed the group to the Embassy, taking it’s name from the former Prince Nana run faction in 2003 in ROH. Blanchard was not mention thereafter and the group continued as if he was never part of it.

While reports of him leaving ROH did appear last night, Fightful Select’s latest post have confirmed what many feared – Tully Blanchard has left AEW/ROH. They claimed in their latest report that Blanchard is done with the company moving forward and not to expect to see him on TV any time soon.

Talent and staff in ROH that inquired were told that Blanchard is effectively gone from the company, and isn’t figured in to plans moving forward.

The Embassy will be regulars in ROH moving forward, with Brian Cage likely to receive a big push as one of the few stars in the promotion. This also comes after reports that Johnathan Gresham asked to be released from his contract before he lost the ROH Championship to Claudio Castagnoli, in last nights opener.

The Embassy in ROH

The Embassy, ROH’s newest faction, is not a new one in fact. The group has been run by manager Prince Nana since 2003 and featured many of the top alumni in ROH history. This includes current ROH Champion Claudio Castagnoli, TNA legend Abyss and ECW Original Rhino.

The list of former Embassy members below contain;

  • Donovan Dijak
  • Jimmy Rave
  • Daizee Haze
  • Sal Rinauro
  • Alex Shelley
  • Abyss
  • Jade Chung
  • Fast Eddie
  • John Walters
  • Xavier
  • The Outcast Killaz
  • Angel Williams
  • Vanessa Harding
  • Josh Daniels
  • Mike Kruel
  • Conrad Kennedy III
  • Shawn Daivari

  • Rhino
  • Claudio Castagnoli
  • Joey Ryan
  • Matt Sydal
  • Erick Stevens
  • Tommaso Ciampa

It is likely The Embassy (sans Tully Blanchard) will appear on ROH going forward, but it is unknown if they will make appearances in AEW.
