Former WWE Superstar Sasha Banks has commented on a potential return to the WWE, saying that she cannot rule out ever returning to the company. Now going by the name Mercedes Moné, she is signed to NJPW and wrestles as the top star in their fledgling women’s division.

Mercedes Moné debuted in Japan during Wrestle Kingdom 17. She attacked IWGP Women’s Champion KAIRI (former WWE star Kairi Sane) after her victory over Tam Nakano to defend her title. Mercedes entered to a quite and confused crowd, clearly not familair with the WWE. She cut an awkward promo which was again met with silence, getting her post WWE career of to a bad start.

However, she managed to turn things around and blow them all away in her first match away from WWE. Mercedes Moné defeated KAIRI for the title at NJPW Battle in th Valley in an incredible match. It was the best match on the show, being rated 8.66 on Cagematch, a better score than Jay White vs Eddie Kingston and Kazuchika Okada vs Hiroshi Tanahashi.

While she has already won title belts in her first match, the former Sasha Banks has spoken about a return to the WWE in a recent interview with Marc Raimondi of ESPN. The IWGP Women’s Champion spoke candidly about a potential return to the company she walked out on last May, vacating the WWE Women’s Championships alongside her partner Naomi.

Sasha Banks said “never say never” in regards to a WWE return, stating that you “never know in life” what will happen that could lead her back into the promotion.

“I guess people like to say ‘never say never.’ You never know in life. I never knew life would take me here, but I always follow my heart so wherever my heart takes me is where I’m going to go.”

Would you like to see Sasha Banks return to WWE or would you rather watch Mercedes Moné wrestling against all the top female stars across the world outside of the company? Let us know what you think in the comments down below.
