The WWE Hall of Fame in one of the most prestigious hall of fame’s in professional wrestling.
If a wrestler has been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, it means they are one of the best of the best and have had a huge contribution to wrestling.
From Andre the Giant in 1993 to The Undertaker in 2022, every year top WWE superstars are inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
Even stars from CM Punk’s era, like Edge and Beth Phoenix, have been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
However, due to his erratic exit from WWE and recent firing from AEW, fans are wondering when, if ever, CM Punk will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
CM Punk In The WWE Hall Of Fame
CM Punk will likely be offered the chance to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame one day, but the chances of him accepting are unknown.
One thing fans know about CM Punk is that he holds a grudge.
There is zero doubt that he has had a WWE Hall of Famer-level career. Punk held the WWE Championship multiple times, with one reign lasting 434 days.
He had iconic matches with the likes of John Cena, The Rock, Daniel Bryan, Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker – including wrestling in the WWE’s first five-star match in over a decade.
CM Punk changed the business in many ways. He opened the door for indie talent like Daniel Bryan to sign for the WWE, based on his own success.
The famous “Pipebomb” promo ushered in a new era of wrestling in the WWE, and him walking out after the 2014 Royal Rumble allowed Daniel Bryan to main event WrestleMania XXX.
The Best in the World is undoubtably one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, but will CM Punk be in the WWE Hall of Fame?
Punk was fired by the WWE on his wedding day (he married former WWE Superstar AJ Lee in 2014). This was bad enough for Vince McMahon to apologize live on the WWE Network, although he refused to accept.
However, Punk did meet up with Triple H in early 2022 – seemingly to bury the hatchet after a decade of tension between the two.
This could be set up for a WWE return. Even if it isn’t, if the relationship between the two is cordial, then CM Punk may accept a WWE Hall of Fame induction.
If Bruno Sammartino, Ultimate Warrior and Jeff Jarrett can be brought back into the WWE family, so can Punk.
It may not be in 2024, but CM Punk will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame one day.
