AEW’s Negative 1 Makes WWE Debut At WrestleMania 39

AEW’s Negative 1 has made his WWE debut, appearing alongside Cody Rhodes in the main event of WrestleMania 39.

Negative 1 (real name Brodie Huber) is the son of Brodie Lee, also known as Luke Harper in the WWE.

Brodie Lee passed away on Boxing Day 2020, after a long but shocking battle with illness. His death hit the wrestling world hard, and many companies paid tribute to the former WWE Superstar.

In the aftermath, Cody Rhodes and Big E helped to look after Brodie Jr. He debuted on AEW TV on the Brodie Lee Celebration of Life, leading The Dark Order as their benevolent leader, known as Negative 1.

The AEW star debuted at WrestleMania 39, in the main event of night 2 of the show. He appeared in the crowd, alongside Brandi Rhodes (Cody’s wife) and their daughter, Liberty.

Cody Rhodes gave Negative 1 (Brodie Jr) his custom weight belt, which detailed the names of all the independent wrestling companies he wrestled for upon his 2016 release from the WWE.

This was a touching moment captured before the WrestleMania 39 main event, and was pointed out by Michael Cole on commentary.
