Dax Harwood Was “Scared He’d Be Found Dead” Over Saudi Arabia Plane Incident

Dax Harwood has recently spoken out about his trip to Saudi Arabia with the WWE, claiming he could have been killed had be revealed details about the trip.

After putting on the 2019 Crown Jewel show, one plane containing the bulk of WWE’s wrestlers was grounded for hours, with them being refused leave from the country.

Bray Wyatt as “The Fiend” defeated Seth Rollins for the Universal Championship at Crown Jewel 2019.

With the recent killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, Saudi Arabia had a bad reputation, and some wrestlers thought they could die on the plane.

The issue was said to be a dispute between Vince McMahon and the Saudi Royal Family, which was eventually quashed, and the superstars were eventually allowed to leave, some hours later.

One man on that plane was FTR’s Dax Harwood (Scott Dawson in WWE), who has revealed something horrifying about his time in Saudi Arabia with the WWE.

FTR WWE RETURN

On Twitter, AEW Tag Team Champion Dax Harwood asked fans what topics they wished had got covered on the now-cancelled FTR Podcast.

His “FTR Podcast” co-host Matt Koon mentioned the “Saudi Arabia Plane Incident”, which caused quite the stir back at Crown Jewel 2019.

In response to the question, Harwood revealed that he feared for his life, if he had spoken about the event. The year prior, the Saudi regime killed journalist Jamal Khashoggi, so tension were high for the event.

In response to the question about the Saudi plane incident, Dax Harwood revealed he was worried he would have “been found dead”, had he spoken about the incident after the event.

Honestly, I was afraid if I told the truth about what happened, I would’ve been found dead somewhere in my house.

One anonymous wrestler claimed that the wrestlers were being “held hostage” on the plane.

Meanwhile, WWE superstar Karl Anderson revealed that he thought that the army could have boarded the plane and “start blasting”.

With the reputation Saudi Arabia have earned over the past few years, he even texted his (hot Asian) wife and children, to tell them he loved them, in the unlikely event of his death.

“MPs were surrounding us on the airway tarmac. There were a couple of situations, where just for a couple of seconds, I was like, ‘F*** man. We are in such a corrupt country with such a corrupt government.

Who’s to say that they are not going to come in here and start blasting us, for whatever reason?’ So I remember sending my wife a text, ‘Tell my kids I love them,’ because that’s how hairy it got. But it never got to the depths that people thought that it did.”
