Mr Kennedy Reveals Dream Matches For WWE Return

Former WWE Superstar Mr Kennedy has sparked rumors of a WWE return, speaking about who he would like to face in the company.

The former Mr Money in the Bank has not wrestled in the WWE since 2009. He last wrestled against Randy Orton in May 2009, being fired shortly after for injuring the WWE legend.

Despite nearly every other star from this time making at least a one-off appearance in the WWE, Mr Kennedy has never returned to wrestle in the WWE.

There were rumors he could come back as a manager, although a recent interview with Sportskeeda has given life to speculation Mr Kennedy could return to the WWE for one-last run in the company.

Speaking with Sportskeeda , Mr Kennedy revealed with WWE legend he’d love to face. He cited “Stone Cold” Steve Austin as his dream match in the WWE, revealing he was “so happy” to see Austin vs Kevin Owens at WrestleMania.

“My absolute dream opponent of all time hands down would be Steve Austin.” Mr Kennedy said, “I was so happy when Kevin Owens got to do that a few years ago. What an awesome thing. That would be my dream opponent.”

Mr Kennedy was good friends with Austin during his career. He claimed in a shoot interview that Stone Cold took him under his wing at the time, giving him advice on his matches and promos over the years.

Kennedy also mentioned wanting to wrestle against current WWE stars Seth Rollins and AJ Styles, although he already wrestled the latter during his time in TNA.

“I definitely would love to wrestle Seth [Rollins], I have actually wrestled AJ [Styles] a lot when I was in Impact Wrestling, when I was with TNA. I still say, for my money, AJ Styles is the best wrestler in the world. He’s so versatile, he can work with anybody.”

Mr Kennedy, who now goes by Mr Anderson, was the last person to ever wrestle against Eddie Guerrero. This was one of Guerrero’s most famous matches, so click below to read more about it.
