Rey Mysterio Shoots Down Jennifer Aniston Rumours

There were some odd wrestling rumours in the 1990s, but none more shocking than the secret affair between Rey Mysterio and Jennifer Aniston.

Then part of the WCW Cruiserweight Division, Mysterio was becoming a big star in America and was changing the way Luchadors were seen in the United States.

Meanwhile, Jennifer Aniston was one of the most famous actresses in the world, as she starred as “Rachel Green” in the smash hit TV show “Friends”.

To this day, the show is shown in various countries, and played on a loop on many channels, nearly 20 years after ending.

Aniston famously married Brad Pitt, but there were rumours that she was dating Rey Mysterio in 1997. Mysterio has not commented on this, until an appearance on fellow WWE star Logan Paul’s podcast.

Did Rey Mysterio Date Jennifer Aniston

On the latest episode of the Impaulsive podcast, Rey Mysterio spoke to Logan Paul about a variety of subjects relating to his career.

Mysterio was asked about the rumoured relationship, which would have taken place after Mysterio married his wife Angie in 1996.

The former WWE Champion shot down the rumour, claiming that he had “no idea” where it came from, but thought it was funny, despite being married.

I have no idea what that was about or where it came from. Maybe somebody wanted to get my name out there and started the rumor. Anyway, I thought it was funny.

He went on to talk about his interactions with fans outside of the ring, revealing how he “likes his privacy” and gets tired of fans bothering him when he’s just trying to have time with his family.

“I like having my privacy man, and I’m very low key, you know. And when I chill with my family, I don’t like to get mugged or be signing sh*t.

Like even when I vacation a lot, I get mobbed sometimes so much by the staff of the hotel, and the hotel is taking care of us, but sometimes it gets a little too much. Which I don’t mind when I’m working, but when I’m on my time off…”

Rey Mysterio looks set to team with International Bestselling Artist Bad Bunny at the next WWE PPV, Backlash 2023.
