Youtube Star KSI is one of the biggest influencers in the world, yet it was a huge shock when he showed up during Logan Paul vs Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 39.
KSI was revealed to be the man inside the giant Prime bottle costume, and helped save Logan Paul from losing the match.
However, he was overpowered by Rollins, and a distracted Logan Paul accidentally hit KSI with a Frog Splash that led to him crashing through the announce desk.
This is KSI’s only appearance in WWE so far, so fans are wondering if KSI will join WWE in the future, and maybe even wrestle at WrestleMania for the 2024 event.
Will KSI Wrestle In WWE?
KSI has revealed that he does want to wrestle a match in the WWE, and has chosen a former WWE Champion as his opponent.
He has long spoken about his love for the WWE. KSI grew up playing the old Smackdown vs Raw games on the Playstation 2, and watched the WWE during its heyday in the Attitude Era.
In a 2020 interview with AllHipHop, the Youtube Star revealed that he would be open to joining either AEW or WWE, citing his love for the likes of Steve Austin and The Rock during their prime.
“I like doing that type of stuff. Of course, I’m always open to doing WWE, AEW, or whatever organization there is. I’ve been a fan for years. Man, that’s my childhood. I used to watch Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, Hulk Hogan, Sting, Mick Foley/Mankind, The Undertaker, all these guys, Triple H”
However, earlier this year it was reported by Fightful that KSI had no interest in joining fellow Prime-founder Logan Paul in the WWE.
However, this was just to get fans off the scent for KSI’s big reveal at WrestleMania 39, and eventual Frog Splash by Logan Paul through a table on him.
Dressed like a giant Prime bottle, KSI’s WWE debut did huge numbers on social media, and gave rise to mass fan speculation about him wrestling in the future for the WWE.
After WrestleMania 39, KSI was interviewed backstage by Cathy Kelley about his debut in the WWE.
The backstage interviewer asked KSI if he would like to wrestle in the company, and who he would step into the WWE ring with.
With a surprise, KSI said he would love to fight Bobby Lashley, which would be a huge match for the former WWE Champion.
He is used to mixing it up with celebrities, given his history wrestling in the Battle of the Billionaires at WrestleMania 23, so could be a good choice to face KSI at next years’ event.
“I mean, you never know, you never know. If I was to choose an opponent? Oh my God. I don’t even know – Bobby Lashley!
Bobby Lashley – put me in with the beast! He’s literally like triple me.
You know what? I’m up for the challenge!”
While he has not joined WWE yet, KSI could yet wrestle for the WWE, or even AEW in the near future.
