Kurt Angle will be at Wrestlemania 39, the WWE Hall of Famer has revealed. Angle has not been seen at the big event for a number of years, with his last match taking place on the undercard of Wrestlemania 36. At that event he took on Baron Corbin in his retirement match that he has since called “disappointing”.

During a bonus episode of “The Kurt Angle Show”, WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle revealed he planned to go to at least one night of Wrestlemania 39, although given that he wants to see Cody Rhodes vs Roman Reigns it’s likely he will have to stay both nights.

“Right now, my flight plans leave Sunday morning. I’ll watch the first half of WrestleMania. I might stay and extend my flight to the next day, but I want to watch Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes because I believe he’s going to win the title. (Paul Bromwell pointed out that we don’t know yet whether Roman vs Cody is on the first or second night).

“I’m doing an appearance for WrestleCon. I believe I’m going to do some stuff for WWE as well. I plan on going to WrestleMania for one day. I’m really excited about it. This is the first WrestleMania I’ve gone to in a while.”

Wrestlemania is usually full of legends making appearances in backstage skits and various other ways. Kurt Angle is already a member of the WWE Hall of Fame but could appear to induct a former colleague of his, like The Rock or Christian.
