Former NXT Champion Bron Breakker says he ‘Ain’t afraid” of Roman Reigns as a Bron Breakker vs Roman Reigns match is teased for after Wrestlemania 38.

Bron Breakker recently lost the NXT Championship to Dolph Ziggler, and failed to regain the title at NXT Stand and Deliver before Wrestlemania 38 this Saturday. This had led to speculation that Bron Breakker is due to be called up to the main roster in WWE, and recent comments have suggested that Breakker has his eyes set on Universal Champion Roman Reigns.

During a recent interview with Shakiel Mahjouri of CBS Sports, the son of Rick Steiner (and nephew of Scott Steiner) was asked about a potential match against Roman Reigns. The former NXT Champion did not hold back when discussion a potential Roman Reigns vs Bron Breakker match. Breakker claimed that he isn’t afraid of the Tribal Chief, and “if Roman wants a piece of me, he can come get some!”

Never say never,” Breakker said. “Anything can happen in this sport. On any given day, anything can happen,” he continued. “I don’t know. If Roman wants a piece of me, he can come get some. I ain’t afraid of him at all. If he wants to come down here, I’ll fight him. Or, hell, I’ll take my a** up to SmackDown and beat him up there. It doesn’t matter. I don’t care where we go. If he wants a piece of me, he can come get it.”

Bron Breakker on a potential match with Roman Reigns

Whether Roman Reigns vs Bron Breakker will be for a world championship remains to be seen. Roman Reigns is set to take on Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania, with the winner taking home both the WWE and Universal Championship. With new signing Cody Rhodes WWE Championship aspirations clear, Bron Breakker could face Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship, should Reigns defeat Lesnar at Wrestlemania 38.
