When The Miz Comes On TV, I Turn It Off! Says WWE Legend

One wrestling legend has slammed the work of The Miz in WWE, claiming that he turns the TV off whenever he comes onto screen.

The Miz is a two-time WWE Champion, and one of the most consistent workers in the WWE, for the past 15 years.

He has won nearly every belt in the company, despite coming in in the mid 2000s as a reality TV star. He worked his way up the card, even beating John Cena in the main event of WrestleMania 27.

The Miz was made the host of WrestleMania 39 this year, and was joined by WWE Hall of Famer and rapper Snoop Dogg.

The pair appeared multiple times during the event, where Snoop but Miz in two unplanned matches, much to the former WWE Champion’s dismay.

On night 1, he lost to returning commentator Pat McAfee. Meanwhile, Shane McMahon challenged him on night 2, but an injury meant Snoop Dogg had to step in and finish the match for him.

Shane McMahon tore his quad after a leapfrog, just minutes into his return vs The Miz.

However, that means nothing to Dutch Mantell, who has chastised The Miz for his poor performances on TV.

“When He Comes On, I Turn My TV Off.”

Dutch Mantell has revealed on a recent episode of his podcast that he doesn’t care much for The Miz, claiming that he can “never take him seriously”.

The former Zeb Coulter is an influential mind in the business, and has worked all the way across the United States over the past five decades in wrestling.

Speaking on the latest episode of his podcast, Story Time with Dutch Mantell, he spoke about how he “turns my TV off” when The Miz comes on screen, but did call his reality show, Miz & Mrs, “Okay”.

“When he comes on, I turn my TV off. I don’t turn it off but I don’t listen to him because you can’t even take him seriously. He’s not that funny, he’s got that show on TV. I’ve watched the show, it’s okay,”

“It’s a, you know, if you miss it you don’t miss anything, but the mess for him to for me to take him seriously. And I’ve never taken him seriously, even when he was in something serious. I don’t know what it was, I don’t know what it is, but I don’t I don’t much care for him.”

Mantell also noted that while The Miz is a good talker, he is not a good “promo” and struggles to get fans to buy tickets to see his matches.
