AEW Revolution 2022

AEW Revolution 2022 is the next featured Pay Per View in the AEW Calendar. In previous years it has featured some of the biggest matches in AEW history, such as the classic tag team match between Adam Page & Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks, as well as the disastrous Exploding Barbed Wire Death Match featuring Kenny Omega and Jon Moxley.

The match has grown to be one of the most exciting events in the AEW calendar. With the influx of talent signing with AEW in 2021, AEW Revolution 2022 will be their first chance to impress on the biggest stage in 2022.

Wrestlers like CM Punk, Bryan Danielson, Adam Cole and Malakai Black all joined AEW last year. Each man will be hoping that they can have a big performance at AEW Revolution 2022. For some, Championship gold will be the goal. For others, it will simply be stealing the show, or furthering their evil cause (Malakai Black specifically for that last one).

What time does it start?

AEW Revolution 2022 will take place on the 6th March 2022. In previous years the show has taken place in either the last week of February or the first week of March, so the 2022 entry follows on with that tradition. In the United Kingdom, AEW Revolution 2022 starts at 1am.

It will be broadcast live on Fite.tv, and will cost $19.99 to watch. This equals around £15 for access the show, and the show will remain in your fite.tv account indefinitely should you buy it.

The show will take place at the Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida. The arena boasts a capacity of 10,000, which was around the attendance of the last pay per view, AEW Full Gear 2021.

While the show begins at 1am and will last for 4 hours until 5am, there is expected to be a 1 hour pre show to kick off the show. It is usually dubbed as the “Buy-In” show, and features 2 to 3 matches to supplement the pay per view afterwards.

What matches will be on AEW Revolution 2022?

These teams will be decided in two seperate battle royals in the coming weeks, with currently no rumours as to who Jurassic Express will be facing.

Other rumoured matches on the card are Adam Cole vs Adam Page for the AEW World Championship, Britt Baker vs Thunder Rosa for the AEW Women’s Championship, Chris Jericho vs Eddie Kingston and Jon Moxley vs Bryan Danielson. Those matches, and more, are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
