WrestleMania 39 was broadcast from the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, on April 1st & April 2nd, 2023. The event was stylised as being from “Hollywood, California”, playing up the movie-star aspect of the show.
This included a variety of skits, broadcast prior to the event. This included The Miz & Maryse parodying Top Gun, Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch appearing as Joker & Batman, as well as The Bloodline giving their take on Goodfellas.
With these various parodies, it made sense that WrestleMania 39 has the tagline “WrestleMania goes Hollywood”, despite not being from Hollywood.
